Personalised nutrition is a novel public health strategy aiming to promote positive diet and lifestyle changes. Tailored dietary physical activity advice may be more appropriate than generalised ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach as it biologically relevant the individual. Information computing technology, smartphones mobile applications have become an integral part of modern life thereby present opportunity for methods encourage individuals lead healthier lifestyle. This article introduces European Union-funded PROTEIN project (PeRsOnalised nutriTion hEalthy livINg) consortium associated work packages.
